Will Wallentine received his B.A. from Wesleyan University in 2023, majoring in Biology and Earth & Environmental sciences and minoring in Planetary Science. He is currently a PhD candidate and NASA FINESST recipient in the department of Microbiology at UTK. Here, he studies growth kinetics, adaptation, and membrane dynamics in extremophiles adapted to cold and chaotropic conditions. In his free time, he enjoys buidling aquariums, ceramics, biking.
